Sleights edge out rivals in tight final
SLEIGHTS School youngsters are the winners of the recent Whitby area middle schools netball tournament.
Sleights played four matches, each six minutes long, against Danby, Lealholm, Seton and Fylingdales.
The games were tough as the schools were well matched.
Sleights won two lost one and drew and this gave them nine points to put them second in the table.
They then had to play Fylingdales in the final. Both teams played some good netball and it was very close, with the final score 5-4 to Sleights
