To precede the trip the group made a selection of flags to choose from, with the winner's entry being used by the school to support the athetes at the event.
Caroline Watson of the Ryedale and Whitby Sports Partnership told the Whitby Gazette it will be a good experience for all concerned.
"The children have been learning about different areas of sport and teamwork and this trip to the Paralympic World Cup will be a great way to show them that.
"We have been having sessions around what events they will see and what competitiors will be taking part.
"The Eskdale multi-skills group will be coming and it was the turn of Ruswarp's year fours also.
"The flags the children produced were very good and they are looking forward to waving them in Manchester."
