STAITHES Cricket Club juniors have bought £300 of new playing equipment thanks to the generosity of sponsors Dennis Mead Glazing and Cleveland Potash.

Coach Victor Hicks said the equipment was much-needed, especially for the younger players who are just starting out and the high quality equipment not only gives the players the tools to play cricket but the added personel

protection compulsory to now play at all levels of junior cricket,

Coach Chris Welford would like to thank his employers Cleveland Potash for its continued support for the junior club, which is based just a stone’s throw from the mine and to Dennis Mead Glazing who, as an individual business, has now given annual sponsorship for many years to the junior cricket team.
