A TEAM of riders from Whitby Community College attended an NSEA show-jumping event at Bishop Burton College.

The team was organised by Krissie Hide, one of Whitby Community College’s Sport Makers.

Max Crossling took part as an individual and did very well on his new horse Mizzy.

The intermediate and senior team events were entered by: Katie Harrison-Walker on Magna, Tom Harrison-Walker on Tex, Abigail Christopher on Henry and Holly Hodgson on Chester.

In the intermediate event, the team won and in the senior event the team came second.

Katie Harrison-Walker was the pick of the Whitby riders, doing extremely well as an individual as well as for the team.

Sports co-ordinator Pete Woolley said: “Well done to Krissie who did a great job of organising the team.

“I cannot thank parents enough for taking horses over to Bishop Burton during the weekend, but it was clearly worthwhile.”
