Local lads from all over the Yorkshire and the north east, including a large number from the Whitby area, will be racing for the honours and the prizes against other Whitby club members from as far afield as Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Scotland and Nottinghamshire to mention a few, such is the popularity of this venue.

As usual there will be five classes, each racing over three legs and to wind up the day an allcomers’ final.

That is 16 races to give the adult spectators great value for their £5 entry money - children under 16 accompanied by a parent are let in free.

It all starts at 10.30am with the practice sessions and the first race will get under way at approximately 11.30am.
