Castleton, Danby and District Bowling Club has continued its winning streak, having won all of the last 11 matches played.

In the Cleveland League the club beat Locke Park by 86 (8pts) to 54 (2pts) and Nunthorpe by 113 (10pts) to 58 (0pts).

There is an away match today (Friday 27 June) against Saltburn and on Tuesday plays at home against Marske Mariners (both 6.30pm start).

In the Langbaurgh Triples League the bowling club beat Borough Park by 90 (8pts) to 28 (0pts).

The next match is at home against Great Ayton on Wednesday (6.30pm start).

On the weekend the Dowson Trophy was won by Will Fawcett, with runner-up David Mould.

Tomorrow the club has an away match against Guisborough King George V (2.30pm start) and Sunday is President’s Day at Pallister Park when the club, as winners or the Cleveland League last season, play the rest of the league.

On Monday the club plays in the first round of the Pateman Cup in a home match against Langtoft (6pm start).
