The mixed teams of four competed in the tournament at Malton secondary school.

Thunder and heavy downpours meant the competition was held in the sports hall.

Sports Leaders from Malton and Norton College officiated and the players showed determination and high energy in their quest to finish top of the leaderboard.

Airy Hill were runners–up, finishing a close second to the eventual winners, Nawton CP. The team from Nawton went on to represent the Ryedale and Whitby Sports Partnership at the North Yorkshire School Games.
