Lealholm's cup final chance ended
LEALHOLM'S hopes of reaching the final of the Scarborough FA Junior Cup came to an end as they lost 3-2 against Old Malton Reserves.
Two goals down after 20 minutes, Lealholm struggled to get going but a solo run from Mike Thompson reduced the arrears.
And by half-time, they had drawn level when Anthony Morgan found the back of the net with a looping header.
Lealholm continued to play much better in the second half but their cup run was ended when Old Malton Reserves converted a penalty with 15 minutes to go.
