Lealholm pupils land terrific double
PUPILS at Lealholm School showed off their sporting prowess by landing a great double.
The school's football team thoroughly deserved their place in the final of the Barclay's Shield after winning all their preliminary matches.
They came up against a very strong Lythe side in the final, who were the eventual winners.
Well played to both teams who both displayed excellent team spirit.
Lealholm School athletics team enjoyed a successful afternoon at Stakesby when they took part in the medium school event.
Competing against three larger schools, they brought back the trophy for first place.
The girl's relay team romped home well ahead of the opposition at the end of the day to round off a day of great performance by the whole team.
