Goathland make stark warning: join or we fold

Goathland Cricket Club is on the lookout for new members - or its future could be in jeopardy.

Speaking at the club’s annual general meeting at the Inn on the Moor, chairman Andrew Fiddler opened the meeting by saying the club must find some new members for this season or it would be in danger of folding.

Treasurer Ken Foster reported on a £550 profit over the season, while secretary Charlie Woodward said the Eskdale League team had struggled but the Evening League team had won the second division title.
