Fryup's Nikita closes in on leader

FRYUP'S Nikita Smith, competing in the Class B Ladies British Trials Championship, won the opening round at Basingstoke and finished second at Ipstones, Derbyshire and Kirton Lindsay.

Nikita is three points behind championship leader Chloe Richardson, Richmond, whose brother Jonathan is world youth trials champion 2009.

Nikita – nicknamed Beta Nikita and Karate Kid – now rides ACE Gas Gas as a team rider.
