WHITBY Town’s crunch clash at relegation rivals Burscough on Saturday was postponed after heavy rain hit the north west and waterlogged Burscough’s pitch.
The Blues went into the game on the back of a staggering collapse the week before, when they threw away a 3-0 lead against Nantwich before going down 5-4.
With the December fixtures coming thick and fast, Darren Williams’ men now turn their attentions to another huge three-pointer this coming Saturday when they entertain Buxton.
Whitby are in action at home again on Boxing Day, when North Ferriby are the visitors.
