Ten-man ‘Boro suffer drubbing
AFTER a win last week, Goldsborough were hoping for more of the same - but Stokesley had other ideas, hitting nine goals.
Stokesley racked up five in the first half, with James Mathias scoring for the first time in two years, Mark Shinwell netting a hat-trick and Jamie Edwards scoring.
In the second half, Goldsborough - who could only field 10 men - showed great fighting spirit but the extra man advantage for Stokesley was proving difficult and a brace of goals for Cale White and Kevin Hughill completed the rout.
