Park A storm to eight-goal massacre

FISHBURN Park under 10s’ A team stormed to victory with their most impressive display of the season.

The passing and movement of all nine players was superb right through the match.

The first goal was just a matter of time with Park well on top and creating numerous chances. Ward-Hepburn dinked the ball over the keeper for Bannister to force over the line.

Number two followed with Swales finishing coolly from a Fergus cross.

Bannister then smashed another through ball past the keeper for his second of the game for 3-0 at half-time.

Second half instructions were to press home the advantage and keep the visitors’ heads down. This was done in fine style too as Park passed New Marske off the pitch, adding another five.

Gibson came on as sub and grabbed a hat-trick within four minutes with some cool finishes from some excellent passing moves.

Bannister also completed his treble with a strike from distance.

And then Fergus rounded off a blistering display of attacking football with a deflected shot from the edge of the area.

Man of the match: a real team performance with Soni Fergus just shading it.

PARK’S B team travelled away to Eston and put in a superb display, running out 4-0 winners.

Possession was dominated by Park throughout the game and the result was never in doubt.

The Whitby side moved the ball around with confidence and it was Warrilow who opened the scoring for Park with a well-taken goal.

Owen Britton carried on his recent run of goal scoring form, with a fine hat-trick to finish the game off.

It was a comfortable victory which could and really should have seen us score more goals. The victory sees Park unbeaten in their last six matches with 23 goals scored and only four conceded.
