Park A remain unbeaten since November

FISHBURN Park under 10s’ A team remain unbeaten in the league since mid-November after beating a very well-organised Grangetown team this week. Park settled into this game the quicker and the away defence was on top form to keep Grangetown at bay, just as they were three weeks earlier when the sides drew 1-1.

But there was a real desire from the Park lads to make sure they won this time round and they created some good chances throughout the first half.

Hansell, in good scoring form of late, put Park ahead with a tidy finish into the corner of the net for 1-0 at half-time, although Humble in goal made a couple of good stops along the way.

In the second half, Park again had the upper hand with chances with Fergus in particular catching the eye with some terrific wing play.

Gibson was unlucky at full stretch as Fergus played in a lovely ball to the back post. And it was Fergus who deservedly got his goal to wrap the game up with a lovely strike from the edge of the box for 2-0.

Another very good team performance by Park.
