After the previous excellent performances against Beads and Nunthorpe Athletic, Fishburn put in a below-par performance at Redcar Newmarket, exiting the Macmillan Bowl at the first hurdle on Saturday.
Fishburn’s fluent passing game deserted them on the perfect playing surface at Redcar Newmarket.
The first 20 minutes was even with both teams coming close, but Redcar broke the deadlock on 25 minutes.
Their lead was doubled after they were awarded a penalty in the 40th minute.
Park, who last recorded their first Teesside League win of the season, 6-2 against Nunthorpe, never recovered and the home team dominated for long periods and added a third with the goal of the game after 70 minutes.
The visitors did pull a goal back when Liam Beckett scored on his first start of the season, but it was too little to late.
