MICHAEL Dent fired a late winner for Goldsborough who stormed back from 2-0 down to take the points.

Ayton were looking for another good performance after a great win last week and hopes were high when they took a two-goal lead, with Graham Garrett hitting both goals before half-time on his home debut.

Goldsborough’s Jekyll and Hyde season continued as, after a poor first half display, they improved considerably after the interval.

Pushing forward they begun to have more of the ball and steadily worked their way back into the game and took the lead with goals from Stuart Marston, Jorden Purvis and Michael Dent.

Ayton were by no means out of the game and pushing forward well from his midfield role, Adam Newton netted to level the score. But minutes later, Michael Dent dashed their hopes of collecting points in successive weeks with a fourth goal for the visitors.
