A SAM Crooks double helped Lealholm to a welcome win following consecutive draws in the league.
Both sides cancelled each other out in the first half, with neither side able to create any meaningful chances.
Lealholm broke the deadlock on on 53 minutes. Dave Welham hit a powerful free-kick from the edge of the penalty area, and the diving Hollybush keeper got a hand on the ball but could not stop the shot.
Lealholm looked to gain control of the game five minutes later when the ever dangerous Sam Crooks was allowed space wide on the left. His ability to take on defenders and get a shot on goal once again proved successful, giving the home side a two-goal lead.
Hollybush showed why they have improved over recent weeks and had a good spell of play, pinning Lealholm back in defence.
Lealholm keeper Liam Fishwick was called upon to make a number of good saves, denying the visitors goal opportunities.
During this spell of pressure, Fishwick also saved a penalty.
Hollybush pulled a goal back on 75 minutes when Tony Lannon collected a loose ball on the edge of the goal area and slotted the ball past Fishwick.
With Lealholm working hard to get back in the game they were awarded a penalty on 85 minutes and Sam Crooks, reliable as ever, fired the ball home from the spot-kick.
This final goal gave the home side the edge and a victory they had to work hard for.
