A DRAMATIC late winner moved Hinderwell further away from the foot of the table as they maintained their timely good run.
The game started evenly but it was Hinderwell who started to play the better football as the half progressed.
A great run by Hinderwell captain Waters had the Loftus defender in a tangle and a penalty was given when he was fouled in the box.
Marsey stepped up but his spot-kick was saved.
Hinderwell refused to let their heads drop and a Waters free-kick found Marsey who scored to give Hinderwell a deserved 1-0 lead.
Just before half-time, Loftus had a great chance to level but Hinderwell keeper Wright made three fantastic stops in a row to preserve the lead.
The second half started with both sides having chances but it was Loftus who equalised and from there, the Cleveland side expected to go on and win.
But Hinderwell showed excellent team spirit as they refused to give up and had a host of chances in the last 15 minutes which weren’t taken.
Finally Marsey went through on goal and, with the Loftus keeper in no man’s land 30 yards out of his goal, Marsey took the ball round the keeper and squared for sub Steve Sargent who slotted home.
Ths win keeps Hinderwell, unbeaten in three games, moving up the league and unbeaten in three games.
