Collector’s item caps comfortable win

FISHBURN Park under 15s entertained bottom team Cayton at Broomfield Park in blustery conditions.

From the kick-off, Fishburn were dominant.

Clarke in midfield was working hard, playing some neat football.

Fishburn opened the scoring when the impressive Fussey finished after a great run.

This began a devastating 15-minute spell, scoring three more goals, with two from Gildroy and another from Fussey to take Park into half-time 4-0 up.

The second half saw Park still on top with Smurthwaite and Clarke knocking the ball around well.

Smith broke down the left to score a collector’s piece with a left foot drive.

Fussey, Smith and Calvert completed the scoring and the game ended a comfortable 8-0 victory.
