Fishburn Park under 15s title-winners held their annual awards night at Whitby Rugby Club.

It has been another successful season that saw them win the Scarborough and District League title by 10 points.

As well as the league title, they also won the Sportsman Trophy at the Scarborough district presentations evening.

Team success was based on a tight defensive outfit that conceded just 13 goals in 18 games. The Park midfield were aggressive in attack and hardworking in defence.

The front men played some intricate football, scoring some brilliant goals along the way.

The management team of Dave Pike and Paul Hewison presented a club trophy to each player.

Each category was competitive, with so many excellent individual performances.

However, players’ player of the season was a joint award and the two worthy winners were defender Luke Stokoe and midfielder Sam Whitehead.

Parents’ player award was presented to skipper Sam Pike, who also won the Golden Boot trophy as top scorer, netting 25 times in 21 games.

The managers’ player award was presented to Harry Lightwing.
