WHITBY Town didn’t disgrace themselves at runaway EvoStik Premier leaders Chester on Saturday as they eventually fell to a 2-0 defeat.

The Blues slip one place in the league after Chasetown’s surprise win at Kendal but are still only a point from safety with five league games remaining. They will be encouraged from taking four points from top five sides Northwich Victoria and FC United of Manchester in their two preceding games.

Chester report, reaction from boss Darren Williams and remaining fixtures in Friday’s Gazette.
