Sam Pike worked hard but no-one was taking a chance by running behind the Holt defence and when they did the strikers were caught offside a number of times.
Jack Idle put some nice tackles in but was unable to get away from the left back.
Fishburn finally got their goal after a quick throw set Clarkson away and he finished in style.
Harry Purves came off the bench to try to add some pace to the attack and although he played some nice touches he never had an opening.

Jinks’ good punch from a deep cross set Fishburn away, Jay Stonehouse and Hewison worked some room for Purves who was tripped on the edge of the box. Clarkson struck the free-kick and although the keeper fumbled, no-one gambled.
Fishburn were running out of ideas. Their usual slick passing game rarely materialised but when it did it looked good.
A couple of corner kicks went close but never tested the keeper. The last 10 saw wave upon wave of attacks from Fishburn it wasn’t their day.
Although they went close towards the end and they dominated territory and possession throughout, it ended 1-1 with two points dropped.
