Edwin lands race double

WHITBY'S Formula Three racer Edwin Jowsey took the chequered flag twice on consecutive days in the Rockingham BRSCC F3 Championship.

Edwin, of Aislaby, ran his first Rockingham race in pole position, as he had achieved the fastest lap on the time practise earlier on the morning.

Although this was the first time Edwin had ever raced at the banked circuit in Corby, Northampton – which is completely different to any other British or European circuits, – he won the afternoon race head on when he led from the front, pulled away and took the chequered flag.

Edwin had pole position the following day in dry, cloudy and windy conditions, and he started from the front, slowly pulling away to take the chequered flag for the second time that weekend.
