Darts aces to descend on Staithes
MAJOR names from the world of darts are descending on the quaint seaside village of Staithes for a Superstars of Darts event.
"The Silverback" Tony O'Shea will be joined by Keith "Del Boy" Deller and Terry "the Bull" Jenkins in a hotly-anticipated evening at Staithes Athletic Club on Thursday 2 September.
The trio will be taking on 17 teams of three players from around the area in one game of 1,001 each, with the show presented by official referee Paul Wilson.
This is the first time Staithes Athletics Club has had three stars of darts on in one night and tickets are selling fast, with only 15 remaining.
Tickets cost 5 and include pie and peas – see John Theaker or Graham Major at the club.
Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.
Members and bona fide guests welcome.
