Close call in trophy win

Sleights Bowling Club played Pickering in their annual home and away games for the Hoggard Trophy.

Sleights lost away but won at home to retain the trophy by the close margin of three shots.

They also played two friendly matches, winning at home to Great Ayton but losing at Hutton Rudby, which is a new venue for the club.
