SLEIGHTS teenager James Organ was a hat-trick hero as the visitors swept to victory at Ugthorpe on Saturday.
The hosts opened the Eskdale League match with Sri Lankan Gihan Perera hitting a quickfire 43 until he was bowled by John Coulson.
Dave Thomson then ripped through the rest of the home side's batting order, while 15-year-old Organ, in his first season as a senior Sleights bowler, ending the innings with three wickets.
In reply, Sleights started slowly with only G Bland (31) finding gaps in the tight bowling of Perera and Garry Summerson.
Kennett with a cautious 15 was joined by Thomson (15no) who punished anything short to steer the away side to six-wicket victory.
Ugthorpe 82/9: Perera 43, J McLean 11 not out; D Thomson 4-39, J Organ 3-2
Sleights 83/4: G Bland 31, D Thomson 15 no; G Summerson 2-46, N Gibson 1-5.
