Langbaurgh League glory for club bowlers

CASTLETON, Danby and District Bowling Club won the Cleveland League match against Corus 77-65 (6 points to 4 points) and are currently lying joint second.
Today, the club plays a home match against Brotton and on Tuesday, face an away game against Locke Park, both 6.15pm starts.
The club won the Langbaurgh Triples League match against Great Ayton 62-33 (8-0) and with it they won the league with a game in hand.
The club lost the rearranged friendly match on Monday against Sleights and with it the shield, by a total score of 106-167.
Tomorrow the club has an away match at Kirkbymoorside, 2.30pm start and on Sunday, plays for the Moor Close Trophy.
