AISLABY racing driver Edwin Jowsey has enjoyed a great start to his racing season by easing to two wins in France.
And his victories continue an amazing record from last year where he had 17 wins – a 100% win record.
He was racing in Dijon, France, which used to be a Formula One race track around 15 years ago, and lies just north of Lyon.
Strapped into an F3 Lotus type FJ, Edwin was taking part in the International Lurani FIA-governed race.
With a race on Saturday and Sunday, both days were warm and dry but overcast with little wind.
Edwin took the lead in both races straight away and never looked back.
So much so that on both occasions, by lap five, he had stretched out a lead longer than the pit straight.
Edwin was due to compete at Silverstone over the weekend in a Dallara F3 in the first outing with the British Racing and Sports Car Club Championship.
