ThIRTEEN bowling teams took part in this year's Sleights Club Triples competition.
With Fran Bogg stepping in at the last minute, and playing an excellent game, teams were drawn at random and members played with three woods each over 11 ends.
Semi-finalists were W Nicol, J Moore and P Franks against M Harper, D Welford and E Clark while T Bogg, B Dixon, P Harrison took on S Harrison, JR Moore and Be Raw.
The teams winning through to the final were those of Mike Harper and Terry Bogg.
It was a very close final, which could have gone either way right to the last end.
But the winners were the team of Terry Bogg, Pat Harrison and Bill Dixon.
Coincidentally, Bill and Pat were winners together two years ago with a different skip.
The match was preceded by a pie and pea lunch and followed by a faith tea and raffle.
