JOE Barwick hit a 'double double' for Whitby Town under 19s as they continued their good recent run of form.
Barwick's first brace came in the side's 3-1 win over Northern Alliance League eastern division title challengers Pickering last Tuesday night.
Tom Janes had put Whitby in front. The visitors netted either side of Barwick's two goals to set up a nervy finale but his second clinched the contest.
And two days later, the under 19s came from 2-0 down to earn a point at Bridlington thanks to Barwick's second brace in 48 hours. But they lost 4-0 to Hall Road Rangers on Tuesday night, conceding two in each half.
Boss Jimmy Scott said: "We've built our success on solid defending and that went out the window.
"But overall we're pleased with the way things have gone this year."
