Badgers beaten but Stokesley too good

CASTLETON, Danby and District Bowling Club won the Cleveland League match against Brotton Badgers by 87-75 (6 points to 4 points) but lost to Stokesley 75-91 (4-6).
Today the club plays an away match against Corus and on Tuesday it is away to Carlin How, both 6.15pm start.
The club won the Langbaurgh Triples League match against Smith's Dock 58-41 (8-0).
The club also won the weekend friendly against Marske 106-98.
Tomorrow the Invitation Pairs starts at 9.30am, but Sunday's captain's v vice-captain's match has been cancelled.
On Monday there is a rearranged home match against Sleights, 6pm start.
