Older people’s charity WRVS would like to highlight the fantastic contribution that younger volunteers make to society and the role they play in helping to make Britain a great place to grow old.
Student Volunteering Week 2011 takes place from 21- 27 February and WRVS is urging all young people to come forward and take the plunge by volunteering a few hours each week.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your local community and it can change your life for the better whatever your age, and you can pick up some great skills and experiences. So, come on, if you’re a student please get in touch and find out more about volunteering on 0845 601 4670 or visit our website on www.wrvs.org.uk.
