I recently spent a day in St Ives, Cornwall and was glad to find that seagulls there are kept in their place, the area of cliff, sea, shingle and mud.
Notices as shown were fixed at regular intervals along the pier railings and harbour walls, not a very expensive project but one that seems to work.
We only need to look at our streets, public seating and vehicles and windows to see the filth these birds create.
Wild creatures are not in need of fish and chips and bread and we do not need them around our heads and feet.
