No more shopping at the Co-op

I have just begrudgingly paid a £45 fine, which has made my recent weekly shop at the Co-op very expensive.

We live in this area and use the Co-op on a regular basis.

On this particular day I arrived at 10.06am and left at 12.48pm.

In the old days, with our friendly ticket man in his box, this would have been free, with the amount of shopping in my car.

Is this really the time for the Co-op to start employing these bully-boy tactics, with the new Sainsbury’s superstore already drawing, no doubt, many of the co-op’s customers?

I, for one, together with many like-minded friends, do not intend to shop at the Co-op unless parking arrangements change for the better.
