Letter: Our thanks for couple on moors

editorial image

On Friday, April 28, my wife and I were walking in the moors above Goathland. My wife had an accident, breaking her ankle.

A Filey couple with great kindness and cheerfulness interrupted their journey to drive us back to our car in Goathland, a trip of at least half an hour.

The Filey couple absolutely refused any recompense.

Foolishly, we did not get their names. But their small dog is called Bill.

Could we, through the Whitby Gazette, thank them gratefully and sincerely for their very great kindness.
