Have your say

I have just read with great interest the good denizens of Sandsbank in Dorset - the fourth most expensive place to live in the world apparently, are up in arms after the closure of the public toilets there.

Surprise, surprise - tourists are “having to spend a penny” by urinating against garden walls and shock horror, the side walls of some of the £5m valued bungalows.

What did that local council expect?

Mayhaps good council will prevail, and Scarborough Borough Council think again about foreclosure of the toilets on Runswick Bay, Runswick Lane bank top and the toilets in Staithes.

At worst, tourists will stop coming or the recently cleaned up seawater gets contaminated again.

Over to you, Scarborough councillors.
