I do so agree with Pat Perry’s comments about the Archimedes Screw installation.
The view across the river at Ruswarp is timeless, or rather was, before the psychedelic green plastic looking hutments had sprouted.
I have made a complaint to our National Park planners who appear to be rather taken aback by this shocking colour - green is a most difficult colour to place in the countryside.
Apart from the disastrous colour, the actual structure of the buildings looks out of place in one of the most beautiful, prominent and popular spots in the Esk Valley.
Trust early remedial action is taken and hope the Park ensure the replanting and landscaping is more carefully monitored.
