Developers always start their campaigns with exaggerated claims of the number of jobs they are going to create.
Before becoming too excited in support it might be wise to consider the long term issues which will need to be considered. Perhaps the Gazette could make a start by digging out of their archives of some forty years ago, the concerns which were raised when the potash mine was first proposed.
Not the least of the problems are, how will the potash be transported away from the mine and what use will the mines be put to when they are depleted?
