Whilst in Whitby at the weekend for the wartime festival I visited the stalls outside the Tourist Information Centre.
At a sweet stall there I purchased two “pints of fudge” as novelty Christmas presents.
When I got home and unwrapped them I was concerned to see that there were not any labels on the products.
There was not a label stating what was inside the pint glasses, nor was there any lists of ingredients to show whether or not nuts had been used in the making of the fudge.
There was not a manufacturer’s name, address etc present, therefore I cannot get in touch with the makers to ask for assistance.
Can any of your readers enlighten me as to how I can get in touch with the manufacturer?
I would have thought that food products had to be labelled by law.
