Whitby Town launch new soccer school
McTiernan, who is the Blues' third all-time appearance maker, will be joined by club captain Dale Hopson and former player and specialist academy goalkeeping coach Shane Bland.
The trio will also be joined by a specialist fitness coach.
The soccer school has been set up as the first project of the Whitby Town FC Foundation, the recently formed club charity.

The first two sessions will be completely free. After that, they will cost £25 per month on direct debit.
McTiernan has worked previously at Middlesbrough FC's academy, working with players such as Ben Gibson and Dael Fry among others. He currently works as a lead coach for highly established professional football academy Premier Player.
Upon setting up the academy, McTiernan said: “the vision is to reconnect the football club with the community by bringing high-quality football coaching to the town.
