THOSE wanting to catch a glimpse of Santa before Christmas should head along the line to the North Yorkshire Moors railway this weekend.
Santa Claus and his helpers have been travelling from Pickering and Grosmont Stations over the last few weeks.
Passengers on the Santa Specials have been able to enjoy a trip on the train, meet Santa in his Grotto and have a hot drink and a mince pie.
Youngsters received a present while adults enjoy a complimentary tipple.
But the Santa Specials will come to an end on Tuesday.
General Manager Philip Benham adds “The North Yorkshire Moors Railway Santa Specials have been a highlight of the festive season for many years, not just for the railway but for the many hundreds of excited children and their families who have enjoyed a visit to Santa Claus and riding on a steam train.”
