The Red Arrows helped mark Raf Fylingdales’ 50th anniversary on Tuesday with an aerobatic display in the skies above the base.
It was the first time the world-famous RAF display team had been able to fly through the restricted air space above the radar base.
This footage has been kindly lent to the Whitby Gazette by the Red Arrows’ own photographic team and was filmed by Senior Aicraftsman Adam Fletcher.
The radio noise you can hear is the actual communication chatter from the lead aircraft to the rest of the team throughout the display.
