Youngsters from Whitby’s Camp Colebrooke have received support for their recent Royal performance – from the Queen herself.

The young performers had written to the Queen to tell her all about the show, which was called The Monarchy – and were overwhelmed with the surprise letter they received back from Windsor Castle wishing them good luck.

“It’s a month later than the performance but we are still absolutely buzzing,” said Chris Colebrooke, who organised the performance as part of a week of drama activity.
