Director visits Fylingdales

THE Head of Resources for the Ministry of Defence visited RAF Fylingdales recently to meet civilian and military workers at the base.

Director of resources Air Command, Guy Lester, visited RAF Fylingdales on 27 June and the day involved a series of briefings from Fylingdales personnel including, Ministry of Defence Police, SERCo, Turners Power and Royal Air Force operators at the strategic radar site.

Acting station commander, Squadron Leader Dave Pollock said: “It is really important that our personnel have the opportunity to meet and engage with senior civil servants from Air Command. For the director of resources to visit Fylingdales is a clear sign that the work we do here has a vital strategic role and is recognised by Air Command.”
