WHITBY youngsters took part in a nationwide campaign to get into the record books for charity.

Twenty-five children at Coliseum Kids, aged between one and five, joined fellow pupils in nurseries across the country singing “Heads, shoulders, knees and toes” at 11am on Tuesday.

It was part of a bid to break the world record for the most amount of people singing the song at one time.

Emma Rowe, nursery manager, said: “We have got to get back in touch and let them know how many people did it and they will let us know if they managed it.”
