National praise for Whitby and museum

Whitby has been highlighted in a national newspaper, which referred to Whitby Museum as “a great pitstop”.

The museum’s mix of traditional and modern displays in an informative and varied setting was one of the highlights featured in The Sunday Express.

There were also references to the whalebones, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Whitby Abbey and the parish church of St Mary’s.

The article also mentions an accumulation of must see and must do events and locations for its millions of readers.

The Captain Cook Memorial Museum was also included, and the Harry Collett ghost walk.
