Youngsters from Scarborough’s Friarage School learned all respecting themselves, others and the wider community as part of a multi-agency project. Among the workshops covered by agencies and school staff as part of the Respect campaign were neighbourhood and environmental issues, such as noise nuisance and dog fouling, diversity, road safety and internet safety. Pupils also gave a dance routine to the Motown classic hit Respect, by Aretha Franklin. The Respect team introduced Respect Ambassadors within the school. These youngsters were given the responsibilitity to help other young people within the school. The Respect team thanks Ross Fox for her kind donation from the Richard

Fox Memorial Fund, used to buy arts and crafts equipment as well as lanyards.
