Meadow of Skinner Street and Dunsley Hall Country House Hotel have held a hugely successful charity fashion show.

Eight models and a professional compere helped Caroline Collier make sure the large audience had a great time at the sell-out event.

A number of local businesses and organisations weighed in and supported the show.

Cheevers and Kristy’s helped with hair styling and make-up while The Flowerpot donated the flower displays.

Caedmon School kindly lent the staging used for the catwalk and Luna Piena, Raithwaite Hall and Woodlands, along with the show’s organisers, all donated raffle prizes.

The total amount raised on the night was £1,363 – proceeds are being shared between Cancer Research UK and the Great North Air Ambulance.
