Whitby street makes it into the infamous Viz's Profanisaurus

ONE of Whitby's most famous streets has made it into one of Britain's most infamous publications.

Henrietta Street, home to Fortune's Kippers, has made it into sweary magazine Viz's dictionary of rude words.

Roger's Profanisaurus, the Magna Fartlet, has listed the name of the street as one of its 10,000 definitions.

In the book it reads: "Henrietta Street. 1 noun. An old, narrow twisty thoroughfare in Whitby and thus 2 noun. An ageing..."

For reasons of taste we are unable to finish the description as printed.

It is not the first time the publication has featured Whitby in its pages, with the Abbey and the town appearing as backdrops for some of the comic strips.
